About the role

  • Manufacturing Technician supporting healthcare by ensuring manufacturing operations meet standards. Working in a regulated environment for plasma-derived medicines in Montreal.

Responsibilities

  • Install, operate and clean the following equipment: buffer preparation skids, centrifuge, fractionation skids and filter presses, FFT skids and columns, chromatography skids and columns, and the filling line;
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning in the respective manufacturing area;
  • Ensure that all manufacturing supplies in the respective manufacturing area are maintained and replenished as needed;
  • Actively participate in the preparation and implementation of GMP documents (SOPs, batch records) using the change control system and maintain records of all required information and data in accordance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP).

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • College diploma, preferably in Pharmaceutical Technology
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull at least 15 kg (approx. 33 lb) and wear PPE as required
  • Some tasks will require working in a refrigerated environment
  • Experience operating in cleanrooms preferred
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
