Responsibilities
Indirectly supervise the three Sales and Rebates Analysts in the Retail/Pharmacy Division.
Ensure that all payments under the role’s responsibility are processed in a timely manner.
Manage and maintain commercial agreements in SAP for certain major accounts.
Reconcile, analyze, and process rebates.
Maintain open communication with Key Account Managers to keep agreements up to date.
Manage commercial agreements, provide in-depth analyses, identify process improvements, and recommend corrective actions.
Coach and develop the Trade Rebates Analyst team, establish priorities, ensure objectives are met, and monitor compliance with payment deadlines.
Ensure the quality and workload management of the rebate analysts’ work.
Ensure that all amounts received are reconciled, validated, and processed in accordance with commercial agreements and established timelines.
Design and develop monthly sales performance reports for Sales Management, Key Account Managers, and other departments.
Maintain ongoing communication with accounts to establish partnerships that facilitate the payment process.
Prepare and analyze sales and rebate reports according to user needs.
Participate in monthly month-end meetings and prepare the documentation required for accruals.
Collaborate with various departments to understand, resolve, and implement new solutions that improve the company’s overall performance.
Ensure the preparation and accuracy of documentation required for internal and external audits.
Participate in ad hoc projects.
Requirements
Windows and advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of SAP.
Self-motivated and organized.
Meticulous in preparing reports and reconciliations.
Ability to manage priorities.
Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written; the incumbent will collaborate with suppliers and/or customers located outside the province of Quebec.
Five (5) years of experience in accounting or finance.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration.
