About the role
- Bilingual software tester validating French online applications and phone systems for PLATO, a Canadian Indigenous-owned software testing services company. Testing CYARA Contact Centre and AWS Connect systems for finance-sector clients.
Responsibilities
- Test online public-facing applications and phone systems in French
- Ensure functionality, usability, accuracy, and performance standards
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Prepare test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Execute test cases and report results
- Provide insights and recommendations for improvements
- Participate in team meetings to discuss testing progress, challenges, and solutions
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing
- CYARA Contact Centre testing experience is required
- AWS Connect experience required
- Proficiency in French, both written and spoken
- Good understanding of English
- Experience with testing methodologies and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
