About the role
- Backend Development Engineer developing Golang applications for loyalty program systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience for millions globally.
Responsibilities
- Develop modern back-end applications using Golang that will reach millions of users around the world.
- Assist with the development of new services for strategic clients, with some of the largest APIs in the loyalty space.
- Share responsibility for your team’s technical health: architecture, best practices, reliability, security, etc.
- Improve the developer and user experience through thoughtful design, rigorous testing, and clear documentation.
- Ensure that our products meet the accessibility needs of our end-users.
- Collaborate with project managers, relationship managers, product designers, analysts and other stakeholders
- Play an important role in helping us to deliver high-quality products to our partners and customers
Requirements
- Exceptional communication skills
- At least 3-5+ years experience building back-end systems and APIs
- Production experience writing Go applications
- Understanding and experience with design patterns and common software architectures
- Desire to develop your skills across all levels of the technical stack
- Belief in the importance of teamwork, cooperation, and communication
