About the role
- Solutions Engineer supporting PocketHealth’s healthcare automation platform in enterprise sales. Owning technical discovery, security reviews, integration scoping, and customer documentation for hospitals and clinics.
Responsibilities
- Join sales calls as PocketHealth’s technical authority, particularly with technical stakeholders
- Answer architecture, integration, and infrastructure questions and align technical capabilities to product value
- Broaden account engagement by bringing additional stakeholders into conversations
- Complete security reviews with external stakeholders and internal Legal and Compliance
- Maintain and apply the centralized repository of reviewed security answers
- Produce follow-up answers, scoping notes, and integration write-ups on deal timelines
- Build statements of work reflecting implementation effort, integration method, data access, and dependencies
- Identify complexity triggers affecting deal cost or price and raise them before contract signing
- Validate integration assumptions early
- Translate customer technical requirements into internal feature or build requests
- Partner with deployments and forward-deployed engineering to align sold and deployed solutions
- Coach account executives on technical qualification questions
- Own the technical relationship and deliverables with hospital IT leaders, security teams, and radiology operations stakeholders
Requirements
- 5–10 years in a customer-facing technical role: solutions engineering, sales engineering, solutions architecture, technical account management, or implementation consulting
- Experience working in an early-stage, high-growth environment
- Working understanding of enterprise architecture, including hybrid and public cloud, systems, and infrastructure
- Understanding of healthcare protocols, identity and access management, public cloud services, and data handling
- Genuine interest in information security
- Strong written communication
- Comfort operating across strategic and routine work
- Based in the Greater Toronto Area
- Ability to work from the downtown office twice per week
