About the role

  • Senior Director driving enterprise AI strategy, governance, and adoption at Powerfleet, a global AIoT SaaS company. Leading cross-functional initiatives toward measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and functional leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI opportunities across Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Technology
  • Build and maintain an enterprise portfolio of AI use cases
  • Support prioritization, sequencing, and execution of initiatives within the AI transformation roadmap
  • Move AI initiatives from ideas and experimentation toward adoption, scale, and measurable business outcomes
  • Establish and evolve the AI Center of Excellence with frameworks, playbooks, best practices, and knowledge-sharing mechanisms
  • Develop and operationalize AI governance frameworks, standards, and processes with Technology, Security, Legal, Privacy, Risk, and business stakeholders
  • Lead coordination of major cross-functional AI transformation initiatives
  • Establish objectives, milestones, owners, dependencies, outcomes, and execution momentum
  • Establish metrics tracking AI adoption, productivity, business impact, and value realization
  • Support executive reviews of AI initiatives, progress, risks, opportunities, and outcomes
  • Evaluate build-versus-buy opportunities and identify technologies, platforms, and strategic partners
  • Prepare and present AI transformation strategies, roadmaps, use cases, recommendations, progress, and business outcomes to executive leadership
  • Translate complex AI concepts and emerging technologies into practical business opportunities
  • Facilitate decision-making across business, product, technology, and executive stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor on AI opportunities, adoption, transformation, and value realization
  • Establish a culture of responsible AI adoption and experimentation through communication, education, and enablement
  • Identify and scale successful AI use cases, patterns, and best practices across functions and geographies

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technology, digital transformation, strategy, consulting, product, operations, or related disciplines
  • Meaningful experience working with AI or emerging technologies
  • Strong understanding of AI, GenAI, automation, and emerging AI capabilities and their practical business applications
  • Experience identifying, evaluating, prioritizing, and executing technology or AI use cases based on business value and feasibility
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations, recommendations, roadmaps, and business cases
  • Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI, data privacy, security, and enterprise technology considerations
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Advanced degree preferred
