About the role

  • Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist recruiting for Practice Better’s health and wellness EHR platform. Managing full-cycle hiring, sourcing, recruiting operations, candidate experience, and employer branding for Canadian-based hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead full-cycle hiring across multiple concurrent searches, from intake through offer and close
  • Partner with hiring managers to shape role scope, define success profiles, and calibrate expectations
  • Build and execute sourcing strategies for top talent and hard-to-fill roles using outbound approaches, networks, referrals, and creative tactics
  • Manage and continuously improve use of the Greenhouse ATS, maintaining clean pipelines, stages, and reporting
  • Establish and refine interview frameworks, scorecards, and calibration practices
  • Champion an exceptional, inclusive, thoughtful, and bias-aware candidate experience
  • Contribute to and shape the employer brand through market awareness and compelling talent narratives
  • Track, analyze, and communicate recruiting metrics to identify bottlenecks, improve conversion, and drive accountability

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment
  • Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent searches across multiple functions
  • Strong outbound sourcing skills for hard-to-fill or niche roles
  • Experience building or improving recruiting processes, including interview scorecards, hiring manager training, or calibration sessions
  • Track record of DEI-focused or bias-aware sourcing and hiring practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including with senior leaders
  • Ability to pull, interpret, and act on recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and pipeline conversion
  • Proficiency with an applicant tracking system; Greenhouse or Pinpoint experience preferred
  • Analytical, curious, and adaptable approach
  • Canadian-based candidacy required; preference for applicants legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Bonus: experience recruiting in health tech, wellness, EHR/SaaS, growth-stage recruiting, employer branding, or recruitment marketing
