About the role

Data Integration Engineer building secure, real-time integrations between customer systems and Prophix’s financial performance platform. Supporting cloud migration, APIs, and enterprise data connectivity.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance data connections using integration best practices
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
Provide day-to-day support and technical expertise to engineers, project owners, and stakeholders
Provide strategy, architecture, design, and automation options to improve efficiency and simplify integration across platforms
Represent the integration team to IT and the business
Mentor other team members
Build real-time interfaces between systems
Design and build reliable processes
Participate in developing integration strategy, architecture, and organizational frameworks
Create and enforce programming standards and techniques across the organization
Connect Prophix’s cloud environment to customer environments
Integrate, explore, and optimize customer data
Help customers transition from on-premises environments to cloud-based systems
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient data flows

3-5 years of related experience in software design and development
3-5 or more years working with integration of data across disparate platforms and applications
Demonstrated experience creating reusable, standard APIs for real-time integration
Fluent in RESTful web services using JSON
Experience with scripting languages; JavaScript is preferred
Experience interfacing data between cloud and on-premises applications and data stores
Familiarity with Java, Python, SQL, or SOQL
Comfort using AI tools responsibly for research, drafting, or data review
Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located
Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada, and/or internationally
Must have a valid passport
Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
Experience with SnapLogic and/or Java web services is a plus
Academic or practical knowledge of accounting and/or financial concepts is preferred
Ability to function productively on multiple project teams simultaneously
Ability to work independently
Experience working in a high-paced environment and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Ability to work effectively in a team and mentor or provide leadership to team members
Ability to provide level-of-effort estimates and complete tasks within estimated effort and schedule
