About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Specialist leading full-cycle recruitment for PSI, a global medical research company. Sourcing and hiring talent across the United States and Canada while improving recruiting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing to offer for positions in the United States and Canada, including screening, interviewing, testing, presenting offers, and conducting reference/background checks
  • Develop job advertisements and recruitment materials
  • Post and maintain advertisements on career websites and other media platforms
  • Source potential candidates via job boards, resume databases, and social media
  • Utilize referral channels to identify qualified candidates
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies regarding position requirements, candidate profiles, and the full-cycle recruitment process
  • Screen resumes and credentials against position requirements
  • Organize and schedule interviews; conduct and report on first-stage interviews
  • Develop candidate pipelines for open and future opportunities and maintain an effective talent pool
  • Maintain applicant and interview outcome data using the applicant tracking system
  • Build ongoing relationships with hiring managers to understand position requirements, business needs, and recruitment needs
  • Advise hiring managers on industry talent acquisition trends and the job market
  • Develop awareness of business and functional areas to target and hire the best talent
  • Act as a point of contact for candidates, promote the employer brand, and ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Provide progress and analytical recruiting reports on open positions to hiring managers and Training & Resourcing
  • Determine the effectiveness of current recruiting processes and implement improvements

Requirements

  • At least 1.5 years of talent sourcing and recruiting experience
  • Clinical Research, Pharma, or Biotech industry recruiting experience is a plus
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, resume databases, social media for recruitment, and/or candidate management systems
  • Knowledge of interview techniques and sourcing methods
  • Knowledge of employment law and general human resources practices
