About the role

  • Senior Manager leading deal integration, due diligence, carve-outs, and value realization for PwC Canada transaction clients. Developing post-merger strategies, managing complex programs, and advising senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integration strategies
  • Execute deal transactions
  • Conduct due diligence covering stand-alone costs and carve-outs
  • Review and plan synergies, including cost optimization and business transformation
  • Execute carve-outs and separations
  • Rapidly understand target and client businesses to identify operational issues, synergies, risks, and upsides
  • Provide strategic advice and support to senior management
  • Manage large programs and senior-level stakeholders toward deal objectives
  • Develop and manage strategic client relationships across multiple projects
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client organizations
  • Lead business development and pursuit activities with internal pursuit teams and external clients
  • Lead client-facing meetings and proposal discussions
  • Coach and develop diverse teams
  • Work as part of a team of problem solvers on complex business issues from strategy to execution

Requirements

  • Extensive experience providing strategic advice and support to senior management
  • Extensive knowledge of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including pre-deal due diligence, integration planning, separation planning, synergy and cost savings analysis, and/or post-close transformation
  • Experience running large global or multifunctional programs
  • Ability to manage multiple senior-level stakeholders across functions
  • Knowledge of Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance, Operations/Supply Chain, and/or Sales and Marketing
  • Ability to manage and develop strategic client relationships across multiple client projects
  • Ability to manage quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex data
  • Proven ability to deliver full-cycle project management accountabilities
  • Ability to lead teams through complex engagements and manage multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Canada and internationally
