About the role
- Senior Azure developer building AI-first, cloud-native SaaS capabilities for Quest Software's On Demand Migration product. Applying C#/.NET, Azure, and AI-assisted development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to adoption of AI-first software development practices across the project team
- Use AI coding agents and AI-assisted development platforms in solution design, implementation, automated testing, debugging, troubleshooting, refactoring, code reviews, and technical documentation
- Design reusable prompts, agent instructions, development workflows, validation steps, and guardrails for responsible AI-assisted development
- Design, build, test, and maintain scalable, serverless, cloud-native SaaS capabilities
- Develop using C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure Functions, Microsoft Graph API, AKS, ACA, and Event Hubs
- Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and release readiness
- Own critical product components in an Agile SCRUM environment
- Design and implement new features for Quest's On Demand Migration SaaS offering
Requirements
- Microsoft SharePoint and/or Microsoft Teams development experience
- Experience with O365, CSOM, Microsoft SharePoint Migration API, or Microsoft Graph API
- Completion of a computer science undergraduate degree or equivalent practical experience
- Five or more years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on C# and .NET experience
- Professional experience using AI coding agents, AI-assisted development tools, or agentic development workflows as a substantial part of real software development work
- Advanced practical experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, or comparable AI-powered development platforms
- Ability to apply AI coding tools to improve software design, implementation productivity, code quality, automated testing, debugging, troubleshooting, refactoring, code review, or technical documentation
- Experience building Azure cloud applications using event-driven, service-based, or microservice architectures
- Experience building scalable backend services and distributed systems
- SharePoint development or administration experience is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft 365, CSOM, or Microsoft Graph API is preferred
- Asynchronous programming experience is preferred
- Experience developing and maintaining YAML CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar systems is preferred
- Experience with Azure OpenAI Service, large language model APIs, evaluation frameworks, observability, or AI application security is preferred
- Experience with Angular or React and TypeScript is preferred
