About the role
- Senior IAM Cyber Security Specialist onboarding applications to RBC’s identity and access management solutions. Ensuring security compliance, risk reporting, and onboarding testing for a global bank.
Responsibilities
- Work toward onboarding applications to RBC’s Identity and Access Management solutions in accordance with the IAM onboarding strategy and goals
- Work with business partners and application teams across RBC Enterprise to explain the onboarding process and document requirements
- Identify and implement solutions to improve onboarding process efficiency
- Ensure onboarded applications continue to comply with security standards
- Learn architectural patterns relevant to RBC’s IAM services
- Identify and report security risks in accordance with RBC Standards
- Review, analyze, and define onboarding requirements
- Contribute to technical development specifications
- Create test case scenarios and assist with test case writing
- Assist with DEV, SAI (UAT), and PIV testing
- Identify business problems and opportunities and recommend solutions that meet organizational and stakeholder needs
Requirements
- 7+ years experience working with IAM capabilities and solutions
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts and solution designs for efficient security controls
- Experience with one or more IAM tools: CyberArk PAS, SailPoint IdentityIQ, or Entra ID
- Ability to manage, lead, prioritize, and execute with minimal direction or oversight
- Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Understanding data sets and generating meaningful reports
- Proficient technical experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, etc.), Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence), and ServiceNow (nice-to-have)
- Professional certification(s) related to information security or information risk management such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP (nice-to-have)
