About the role

  • Senior SaaS Security Manager protecting RBC’s banking platform from third-party cloud risks. Leading controls, vulnerability management, compliance, and security transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and operation of security capabilities protecting third-party SaaS tools
  • Build a comprehensive SaaS Security program using new and existing security technologies and controls
  • Analyze SaaS configurations for weaknesses and vulnerabilities and respond to security events
  • Analyze trends, develop strategies, and implement bank-wide improvements to defend RBC’s SaaS digital footprint
  • Oversee the design, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement of SaaS security controls
  • Investigate, analyze, and report on SaaS configurations and security events using security tools
  • Monitor and manage SaaS risk remediation requirements from assessments, vulnerability reports, audit findings, and security gaps
  • Develop and maintain metrics measuring the effectiveness of SaaS Security initiatives and communicate impact to stakeholders
  • Partner with technology teams, risk leads, 2LOD, 3LOD, and third-party suppliers to drive SaaS Security transformation initiatives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing key control testing, risk, and compliance initiatives
  • Experience with SaaS and cloud-security concepts and tools, including CASB and SSPM
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline, or comparable combination of training, experience, and education
  • Expertise in vulnerability management
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, governance practices, and vulnerability assessment methodologies
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with ability to lead and deliver complex projects
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for staying current in cybersecurity
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or GCIH are nice-to-have
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools is nice-to-have
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow is nice-to-have
