About the role

  • Web UI/UX Designer creating user-centered web experiences to enhance engagement with Reliable Controls online. Collaborating with teams to design and implement intuitive web designs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with developers, project leads, and internal stakeholders to gather user requirements and translate them into intuitive web experiences.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that bring design concepts to life and support seamless user journeys.
  • Design and refine responsive interface components, including navigation, forms, buttons, and menus, to deliver engaging and accessible web experiences.
  • Participate in usability testing, accessibility reviews, and user feedback sessions, using insights to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Apply and help evolve established UI/UX design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across web platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with the Web Operations development team to deliver accessible, user-friendly, and visually consistent corporate websites and web applications.
  • Prepare clear design specifications, documentation, and developer handoffs to support efficient implementation.
  • Contribute to design reviews and collaborative brainstorming sessions, incorporating feedback to refine and strengthen design solutions.
  • Stay current on emerging trends and best practices in UI/UX design, responsive design, usability, and web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).

Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in UI/UX Design, Web Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in UI/UX, web design, or a related design role
  • Strong experience using Figma to create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design handoff documentation
  • A solid understanding of web design principles, responsive layouts, accessibility, and how designs are implemented by development teams
  • Experience designing intuitive, user-centered web experiences that prioritize usability and accessibility
  • A collaborative approach and comfort working across creative, technical, marketing, and development teams
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present design decisions and incorporate feedback from stakeholders
  • A growth mindset with a genuine interest in improving user experiences, evolving design systems, and continuing to grow your design skills.
