About the role

  • Business Data Analyst optimizing client operations, simulations, and KPIs for RideCo’s cloud-based on-demand transit platform. Supporting transit agencies and fleet operators across service launches and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and launch client projects according to project timelines
  • Support communication and coordination among transit planners, senior management, marketing, and operations staff
  • Manage client relationships throughout the project lifecycle and post-launch operations
  • Develop and implement transportation solutions with project managers, solutions engineers, and client stakeholders
  • Translate client requirements into technical solutions using the RideCo platform
  • Set up, test, and tune system parameters; run simulations; oversee training and soft launches
  • Monitor KPIs during launch week and make ongoing system changes
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis to compare service performance against goals and evaluate trends
  • Design performance analysis reports covering rider experience, driver experience, marketing, operating efficiency, and unit economics
  • Review performance reports with stakeholders and client operations teams in weekly face-to-face meetings
  • Develop executive business review presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Run simulations and optimize service design parameters, including routing settings, vehicle mix, supply positioning, service frequency, stops, and demand models
  • Support clients in setting service targets and KPIs
  • Provide ongoing technical systems and analytics support to operations managers
  • Configure systems based on feedback from operations staff, drivers, and passengers
  • Develop weekly/monthly actions to drive continuous improvement
  • Improve internal processes, automation, and tooling
  • Identify product gaps and opportunities and assist with new RideCo platform features
  • Share knowledge through live demos and maintain documentation
  • Answer client technical support tickets and perform administrative tasks as required

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Management Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business, Planning, or related discipline
  • Experience in data analysis and project management
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as an analyst, project manager, or related role
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google tools
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI is an asset
  • Previous experience in a geospatial analysis program such as GIS is an asset
  • Strong written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Experience preparing reports and presentations for senior management
  • Willing to travel approximately 15%, as needed, in Canada and the United States
  • Must be able to travel to the US within 3 months of hire date
  • Valid Passport/US B1B2 Visa required
  • Must be able to attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week
