About the role
- Field Technician supporting UAV-based geophysical surveys for Rosor Exploration’s mining and energy clients. Operating equipment, managing field gear, and documenting safe survey missions in rugged environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with UAV setup, flights, sensors, power systems, and ground equipment during data acquisition
- Track, maintain, troubleshoot, and organize field gear, vehicles, and workstations
- Support daily field setup and teardown
- Complete logs, checklists, notes, and environmental records
- Report hazards or anomalies
- Follow safety protocols and participate in hazard assessments
- Maintain awareness around equipment and aircraft
- Represent Rosor professionally and contribute to a positive field team environment
- Support supervisors, pilots, and geophysical staff with on-site tasks during survey missions
Requirements
- Must be residing in Canada
- 1–3 years of work experience
- Ability to work in remote areas and variable/adverse weather
- Physically fit; able to lift 50+ lbs, walk long distances, and work outdoors for long periods
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Willingness to travel extensively and work rotational schedules
- Ability to follow structured checklists and procedures
- Submit a 3–5 minute application video answering the specified questions
