About the role
- IT & Security Specialist managing IT operations, security, and infrastructure for Senstar, a leader in security technology. Hands-on role blending end-user support, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support and serve as an escalation point for complex IT issues
- Manage and maintain servers, infrastructure, and core business systems
- Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 and cloud-based services
- Support and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and switching
- Perform security monitoring, alert triage, and incident response
- Manage endpoint security, patching, and system hardening processes
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
- Collaborate across teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and security operations
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Azure)
- Solid networking knowledge (firewalls, VPNs, routing/switching, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience in security operations (monitoring, incident response, vulnerability remediation)
- Experience supporting mid-sized environments (200+ users)
- Hands-on expertise with Windows systems, endpoints, and patch management
- Ability to troubleshoot independently across systems, networks, and user environments
- Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting/automation tools
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant certifications are considered an asset.
