About the role

  • Supply chain coordinator managing customer orders, procurement, inventory, and logistics for Socomec’s electrical equipment operations. Coordinating delivery, invoicing, compliance, and cross-functional supply chain execution.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer orders from receipt through shipment, delivery, and invoicing
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and project managers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and supply chain updates
  • Process customer invoicing and maintain accurate order, purchasing, inventory, and logistics records within ERP systems
  • Support procurement activities, including purchase order issuance, supplier communication, and delivery follow-up
  • Support supply planning by aligning procurement and inventory actions with business forecasts and project requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities
  • Support production planning and scheduling by aligning material availability with operational requirements
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments by road, sea, and air
  • Manage customs clearance, import/export documentation, and dangerous goods transportation compliance
  • Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries
  • Monitor purchasing, logistics, inventory, and total cost metrics
  • Identify supply chain risks, communicate impacts, and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare reports, KPI dashboards, and analyses related to customer service, inventory, logistics, procurement, and supply chain performance
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Finance teams
  • Support new product introductions, continuous improvement, and supply chain process optimization

Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or a related discipline
  • 3-7 years of experience in supply chain, customer service, logistics, procurement, operations coordination, or a related field
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably ERP LN, Syspro or similar ERP platforms
  • Experience with customer order management and invoicing processes
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement best practices
  • Production planning and scheduling expertise
  • Supplier relationship management and contract negotiation
  • Inventory management and demand planning
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain processes
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations, logistics, and transportation management
  • Data analysis and reporting capabilities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with ERP systems and MRP planning tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organization and prioritization capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
