About the role
- IT Project Manager leading SaaS implementation projects for Sodales in Toronto. Coordinating teams, timelines, stakeholders, vendors, and project risks across concurrent engagements.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure all deadlines are met
- Delegate tasks to product and functional leads and project team members
- Lead projects and manage project-team productivity using strategies to avoid timeline and cost delays
- Identify gaps in client project-management models and create integrated project plans with key activities and deadlines
- Ensure project milestones are met on time and projects are completed to a high standard
- Keep project teams focused on end goals and communicate changes and impacts
- Communicate project status to internal Sodales stakeholders, external clients, third-party vendors, and key participants
- Optimize project deliverables, schedules, and timelines to reduce risks
- Align projects with Sodales company goals and business priorities, including internal projects
- Standardize project-management tools and templates
- Work with proposal teams to develop timeline estimates and project plans for new clients
- Build internal and external relationships through interpersonal and team leadership skills
Requirements
- Degree in computer science or project management
- 5+ years of project-management experience as a SaaS-based Project Manager
- PMP or Scrum certification required
- Minimum four full life-cycle implementation projects
- Ability to work on 3–4 projects concurrently
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Jira, and MPP
- Experience with SAP technologies is a plus
