About the role
- Software Engineering intern in Canada developing automation and quality control tools with Python and SQL for Sogeclair Digital Engineering. Collaborating closely with engineering teams for data centralization.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop algorithms to optimize data centralization and automation.
- Work with SQL databases for storage, organization, and query optimization.
- Develop user-friendly interfaces to simplify workflows.
- Contribute to building tools for quality control and error detection.
- Collaborate directly with the constraints engineering team to understand specific needs and propose solutions.
- Document code, processes, and workflows.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a software engineering program or equivalent.
- Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with data handling.
- Knowledge of SQL databases.
- Experience in user interface (UI) development.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Experience with cloud platforms or APIs.
- Previous experience on automation projects or with quality control tools.
- Understanding of technical workflows or engineering data systems.
