About the role

Site Engineer providing comprehensive support for account operations at Solenis. Collaborating closely with sales management and engaging proactively at customer sites to ensure chemical safety and efficacy.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive support for account operations, ensuring effective, economical, and safe utilization of chemicals and equipment.
Collaborate closely with sales management to develop and execute chemical programs.
Communicate with sales management regarding account activities.
Conduct necessary testing at the account to verify the safety and efficacy of treatment programs.
Engage proactively at customer sites to promptly address concerns and collaborate with sales and customer teams.
Data analysis plays a crucial role in evaluating program performance.

B.S. in Science or Engineering (preferred)
1-3 years industry experience (pulp & paper or water treatment preferred)
Documented results making process improvements, solving complex and non-routine technical problems
Project management experience
Strong relationship building skills
Good communication skills both written and oral with multiple organizational levels
Experience learning new concepts and/or technology and applying them
Ability to work with autonomy
Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude and skills.
Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
