About the role
- Software QA Analyst responsible for testing software applications supporting hearing aids and internal tools. Focused on identifying software defects and ensuring product quality through various testing methods.
Responsibilities
- Perform software verification activities including functional, exploratory, structural, regression, load, and performance testing
- Identify, investigate, and document software defects and root causes within the defect tracking system
- Validate bug fixes and confirm resolution of identified issues
- Take a structured and exploratory approach to testing to ensure product quality
- Communicate testing progress, findings, and results to project stakeholders
- Provide technical knowledge transfer and support to QA team members
- Collaborate with the Software QA Manager and development teams to meet project timelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with application software testing is a strong asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a development team
- A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
