AI Solution Specialist helping greenhouse growers adopt Source.ag’s AI-powered crop technology. Building dashboards, automations, and custom tools while translating greenhouse insights into product improvements.
Responsibilities
Act as the customer expert by understanding each grower’s crop strategy, operational reality, and success criteria, and tailoring Source to them
Own the onboarding journey so growers reach value quickly and continue gaining value each crop cycle
Connect Source’s forecasts, crop plans, and autonomous tool to growers’ weekly decisions
Track adoption and value metrics and intervene early when adoption slips
Grow and support customer champions, and share grower-level insight and expansion opportunities across the organization
Spend significant time on-site diagnosing problems in growers’ operations and data
Solve problems using Source’s products and build lightweight custom solutions, dashboards, scripts, or simple tools when needed
Use modern AI tools such as Claude to build faster and automate repetitive work
Provide fast, high-quality support that resolves issues before they erode customer confidence
Capture grower pain points and translate them into prioritized feedback for Product teams
Co-develop and prototype solutions with growers
Automate repeat journeys such as onboarding nudges, health checks, and reporting
Build dashboards and tools to monitor adoption and value across the portfolio
Document effective practices so the team can improve collectively
Report to the General Manager, North America
Requirements
Deep growing and greenhouse knowledge as an (ex-)grower or in a grower-facing technical role at a vendor, breeder, or supplier
Strong analytical and data-driven mindset; comfortable with data, KPIs, and analytics
Ability to run data queries or build pivot tables
Hands-on experience building scripts, dashboards, spreadsheets turned into tools, or other practical solutions
Technical ability to build solutions without requiring a formal software or engineering background
Eagerness to use AI tools to build more
Adaptability and willingness to adjust to each grower’s reality
Customer-obsessed ownership mindset and ability to fix grower problems
Extreme curiosity and willingness to adopt new tools early
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills in grower-facing interactions
Based in the Leamington, Ontario area, living there or within a few hours’ drive
Willingness to be on the road more than 50% of the time across North American customer sites
