About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain features for web applications, microservices, and APIs using .NET Core and C#.
- Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of solutions.
- Participate in technical analysis, design, deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Apply OWASP and CWE/SANS Top 25 security standards before production release.
- Develop front-end features in TypeScript within a codebase migrating to Angular and React.
- Integrate features with business rules and legal document template structures.
- Assess the accuracy, completeness, quality, and relevance of AI-generated code.
- Use AI to generate unit tests.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team on the design and automation of test scenarios.
- Collaborate with product, development, and Quality Assurance teams.
- Document code in French.
- Keep up to date with software engineering practices, technologies, and tools, and share learnings.
Requirements
- Proven full-stack development experience; 8 or more years of experience is generally sought.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core and C# for developing and maintaining APIs and web applications.
- Hands-on experience developing in TypeScript with Angular or React.
- Strong knowledge of OWASP and CWE/SANS Top 25 practices.
- Experience with SQL databases in production environments.
- Experience with AI-powered development agents and the ability to critically assess generated code.
- Full professional proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- No work visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is offered.
- College diploma (DEC) or bachelor's degree in software development, computer science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
