- Technical Leader responsible for advancing technical excellence in Roadways discipline at Stantec. Collaborating on project delivery and technical standards across regions and projects.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Project Delivery Business Leader (PDBL)
- accountable for advancing technical excellence, strengthening quality, and building technical capability across the Roadways discipline
- work collaboratively to ensure that technical excellence is embedded into project delivery, strategic pursuits, and business operations
- connect technical communities of practice to project delivery
- ensure consistency in technical approaches across regions and BCs
- work closely with delivery leadership to ensure appropriate technical expertise is applied to projects
- support project teams by facilitating access to technical capabilities
- contribute to major pursuits and key project reviews with technical leadership and input
- ensure feedback from project delivery is captured and translated into improvements in standards, tools, and practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline
- Typically 15+ years of relevant experience
- Recognized technical expertise within an infrastructure discipline (Roadways)
- Proven experience in complex project delivery and technical leadership
- Demonstrated ability to lead across regions and influence without direct authority
- Position will primarily work in an office setting. Occasional business travel will be required.
