About the role
- HR talent acquisition co-op supporting recruitment, onboarding, and HR projects at S&C Electric, a power-grid reliability company. Coordinating campus hiring, production recruitment, timecards, and career-fair outreach.
Responsibilities
- Drive post-offer and onboarding process
- Assist with full cycle campus recruitment for co-op and summer students
- Support recruitment for production roles
- Process timecards and payments for contingent team members
- Support planning of outreach activities and S&C summer career fair
- Provide support for talent acquisition and HR projects
- Support creation of interview guides and materials
- Develop and implement solutions for the HR Program & Projects team
- Coordinate communication with the Production Operations team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Maintain system documentation for business software
Requirements
- Post-secondary student enrolled in Human Resources Management, Employment Relations, or a similar field
- Eligible and enrolled for a 4 or 8 month co-op program for the Winter 2027 work term
- Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal, time-management, and customer service skills
- Good computer skills: Word, Excel and Power Point
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally in all written and verbal communications
- Familiar with HCM and ATS is an added advantage
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as a team player
- May involve lifting, moving, or using objects or equipment up to 20lbs
