Support security analytics team maintaining AWS environment and enhancing data quality while driving data tagging initiatives. Collaborate with multiple technology teams for project outcomes.
Responsibilities
Support in maintaining the health of Security Analytics AWS environment by finding ways to enhance the data quality and documentation of tables, processes and procedures.
Support and drive data tagging on historical data to support various data and analytics use cases and proof of concepts POCs.
Provide support on POCs of new technology on cloud and tools that can bring speed to Data Engineering and Data pipelines.
Work collaboratively with multiple technology teams within security, data & analytics, cloud and architecture teams to outline initiatives and project outcomes.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary or equivalent degree with a focus (i.e. major) on one of the following: Computer Science with supporting education or experience in business management.
Business Management, with supporting education or experience in Computer Science or Engineering.
Programming with SQL and/or Python.
Any knowledge of AWS technologies such as Glue, RedShift, Lambda, EC2 etc is a BIG Plus
Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills for data manipulation, charts and presentations.
Knowledge in database technologies and programming languages
A demonstrated interest in cyber security.
Confidence of positioning thoughts with seasoned team members.
