About the role
- Software Engineering Intern building AI productivity features at Superhuman. Shipping code across front-end, back-end, full-stack, security, or mobile engineering.
Responsibilities
- Work on an end-to-end Engineering challenge related to the team’s high-level goals
- Ship code within the first few weeks
- Iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment and provide feedback on product direction
- Partner with a mentor to scope, design, and execute a fully formed project over the internship
- Collaborate with engineering professionals and learn from a mentor
- Work with APIs, frameworks, tools, coding agents, and programming languages
- Learn from challenges involved in shipping products to tens of millions of daily active users
Requirements
- Can collaborate in person at the Toronto hub at least two days per week
- Available for the entire duration of a twelve-week program
- Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Strong communication skills, especially for technical collaboration
- Excited to learn
- Must be authorized to be employed in Canada
- Currently attending a college or university in Canada
- Currently pursuing a degree in computer science or another related field
- Must live within 50 miles of the Superhuman hub in Toronto
