About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer scaling AWS infrastructure for Sureify’s insurance SaaS platform. Automating deployments, reliability, monitoring, and security across the Americas.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate scalable AWS infrastructure
- Build applications with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Implement robust monitoring and logging tools, such as NewRelic, DataDog, and Grafana
- Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to accelerate delivery
- Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis
- Build and work in complex SDLC environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline development and deployment workflows
- Help scale and operate the infrastructure behind Sureify's platform
- Improve system performance, strengthen security, and enable fast, reliable deployments
Requirements
- 6–10 years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized systems
- Proficiency with Terraform (or similar IaC tools)
- CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent)
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Solid Linux/Unix fundamentals
