About the role
- Mobile Application Tester manually testing web, iOS, and Android applications for Symbiotic Digital, an IT consulting and recruitment company. Supporting agile Scrum teams through regression testing, bug documentation, test scenarios, and Azure DevOps workflow monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web applications
- Perform manual testing of iOS applications
- Perform manual testing of Android applications
- Communicate and document bug reproduction steps
- Create and maintain regression test cases
- Examine requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios
- Participate in daily software testing activities to improve cloud-based software solutions
- Monitor workflow in Azure DevOps and test completed development work
- Collaborate within a Scrum team operating in 2-week sprint cycles
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Experience manually testing web applications
- Experience manually testing iOS applications
- Experience manually testing Android applications
- Ability to clearly document and communicate bug reproduction steps
- Ability to create and maintain regression test cases
- Ability to analyze requirements and develop thorough test scenarios
- Understanding of basic relational database design (nice to have)
- Experience with automated UI testing using Cypress (nice to have)
- Experience working in a Scrum environment (nice to have)
- Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps to track work (nice to have)
