About the role
- Lead the modernization of the Sophis platform at Synechron. Enhancing performance and scalability using advanced technologies and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Drive architectural evolution and software development to modernize the Sophis platform.
- Design and implement solutions in C#, C++ and Python on Windows and Unix systems.
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.
- Collaborate globally to provide technical leadership, mentoring and strategic guidance.
- Promote DevOps practices, improve deployment pipelines and strengthen operational reliability.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to improve code quality and accelerate development.
- Work closely with business partners to understand the equity derivatives lifecycle processes.
- Contribute to support activities and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Over 7 years of experience in capital markets technology, with expertise in trading and risk management systems.
- Advanced skills in C#, C++ and Python.
- Deep knowledge of equity derivatives and their lifecycle.
- Proven ability to resolve performance and scalability issues.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
- Familiarity with structured notes, options, and swaps.
