About the role

  • Quantitative Developer building and optimizing trading models with data analysis for market strategies. Collaborating with traders and quantitative analysts in a multinational consulting firm.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and optimize quantitative models supporting trading, valuation, and risk management.
  • Develop robust analyses in Python, integrating seamlessly with trading systems.
  • Manage and analyze large datasets related to market data, valuations, and risk.
  • Collaborate closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and technical teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain and improve existing models and frameworks.
  • Stay up to date with the latest financial theories, advances in data science, and market trends.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of Python development experience, with a strong object-oriented focus and mastery of data libraries.
  • Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
  • Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to LLM-assisted development is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of equity markets and capital markets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a team.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
