About the role
- Senior IT Infrastructure and Network Administrator optimizing technology and cybersecurity environments for critical systems at a respected organization in Metro Vancouver. Collaborating with technical leadership and mentoring team members in a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving enterprise infrastructure environments that support critical business and operational systems
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring team members
- Interfacing with and presenting to executive leadership
- Establishing best practices through standardization, automation, documentation, and strong engineering discipline
- Contributing to both strategic infrastructure initiatives and day-to-day operational excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Five or more years of progressive experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or a related technical role
- Proven experience supporting industrial networks, SCADA systems, or operational technology environments
- Hands-on experience delivering infrastructure projects from planning through implementation
- Experience with industrial control systems, endpoint security technologies, and cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS will be considered strong assets
- Preferred certifications include: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), CompTIA Server+, Other relevant infrastructure, networking, or cybersecurity certifications
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- A high degree of accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence
