- Design and develop server-side applications and APIs

- Optimize database schemas and queries
- Maintain code quality and documentation

- Gather and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Stay updated with backend development trends
- Collaborate with DevOps for production deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Expert in Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Proficient in PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Skilled in writing optimized database queries
- Strong understanding of REST and APIs
- Experience with Redis and background job frameworks
- Familiar with Git and GitHub best practices
- Knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS, Heroku)
- Understanding of CI/CD tools (CircleCI, CodeShip)
- Basic understanding of payment systems (Stripe, Paypal)
- Comfortable with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
