About the role

  • Executive Recruiter securing senior leadership talent for TD, a global financial institution. Advising executives and building talent pipelines through market intelligence and strategic search.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end executive search and recruitment mandates for Assistant Vice Presidents and other critical leadership roles
  • Advise senior executives on talent availability, market trends, competitive intelligence, and succession considerations
  • Develop proactive search strategies to identify, assess, and engage diverse executive talent
  • Build and maintain leadership talent pipelines aligned to current and future business needs
  • Conduct market mapping and talent research to identify top industry talent
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and business leaders on hiring strategies
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience throughout executive recruitment
  • Use talent analytics and market insights to inform hiring decisions and talent strategies
  • Represent TD externally and cultivate relationships with industry leaders and talent communities
  • Ensure executive search activities meet standards for professionalism, confidentiality, governance, and risk management
  • Support team activities, timely communication, workload management, and service-level agreements
  • Adopt emerging technologies and data-driven practices to modernize Talent Acquisition
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovative executive hiring solutions

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 3-5+ years of experience in executive recruiting and/or senior-level roles
  • Proven track record recruiting senior leadership and executive-level talent across complex organizations
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence and consult senior business leaders
  • Expertise in executive sourcing, talent mapping, market intelligence, and candidate assessment
  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align talent strategies with organizational objectives
  • Ability to meet applicable provincial employment regulations and requirements
