About the role

  • ServiceNow System Administrator maintaining ITSM platforms for TD, a global financial institution. Configuring workflows, integrations, security, reporting, and platform improvements in a hybrid Toronto role.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform and its core applications
  • Manage users, groups, roles, permissions, and access controls
  • Configure and support ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Requests, and Catalog Items
  • Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and Notifications
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Support platform-hosted services and applications, including data quality and configuration management processes
  • Troubleshoot platform, configuration, and performance issues
  • Support integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub
  • Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, patches, testing, releases, and deployments
  • Maintain platform security and appropriate access controls
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions
  • Identify automation, process improvement, and platform optimization opportunities
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
  • Provide technical support and guidance to ServiceNow users and Service Owners
  • Collaborate with a diverse workforce in a matrix environment to obtain and synthesize stakeholder requirements
  • Work with the team to implement ServiceNow capabilities
  • Ensure business requirements are understood and prioritize or escalate delivery of projects
  • Align new business capabilities with the ITSM roadmap and strategy

Requirements

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) designation
  • More than 5 years of ServiceNow System Administration experience
  • High SME technical knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform and its capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ITIL Foundations knowledge
  • Technical knowledge of ITSM platforms
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Now Assist capabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse, matrixed workforce
  • Ability to obtain and synthesize requirements from external stakeholders
  • Ability to understand business requirements and prioritize or escalate project delivery
  • Ability to align new capabilities with the ITSM roadmap and strategy
