- Solutions Design IT Specialist responsible for technical design and delivery of payment solutions at TD Securities. Engaged in application design, development, and the creation of comprehensive solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end detailed solution with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery
- You're exposed to stretch assignments as you take on large-scale, complex and/or enterprise-wide projects
- Application design and development activities
- Develop and document a detailed solution design within SDS
- Expert knowledge of the business, broader organization, technical environment, standards, processes, tools, procedures, multiple programming languages, operating systems, solutions design and other relevant technology areas from a design/support/solutions perspective
- Participate in complex applications and systems development, programming
- Produce top-notch functional, technical and user interface designs
- Conduct code reviews to address quality, standards compliance, reusability and ease of maintenance
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in development and design experience (J2EE, Java)
- 10+ years experience in frameworks like Spring, Spring MVC, Spring boot, Spring Security (OAuth, LDAP)
- 7+ years experience in RESTful API
- 5+ years experience in RDBMS database like Oracle, DB2 knowledge
- 2+ years working experience in Kafka, MQ
- Hands-on experience with development tools and frameworks such as Maven, Jenkins, Github-copilot and Nexus
