About the role
- Quality Engineer I working within TD's Technology Solutions team encompassing Agile testing and automation practices. Collaborating on quality assurance and engineering best practices within projects to enhance delivery.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Agile team on test planning, test preparation and test execution activities in adherence to standards for system testing
- Create quality Manual and Automation test scripts using tools like Selenium/Java, Rest assured/Parasoft SOA test
- Pro-actively look to make continuous improvements to test coverage, execution and automation
- Implement quality engineering best practices within projects
- Identify automation goals, current status and improvement and communicate with all stakeholders
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline; or equivalent practical experience
- Strong test automation experience using automation tools & frameworks
- Good knowledge on Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices with exposure to Jenkins pipelines
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to drive automation to meet automation goals
