QA Test Lead (UAT) for banking/risk technology transformation program. Lead UAT strategy, planning, execution, and defect management in a hybrid Toronto contract role.
About the role
- SAP Software Tester collaborating to enhance SAP solutions remotely. Involved in testing, defect tracking, and ensuring quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of test scripts, test cases, design changes, and documentation
- Execute manual testing (e.g., UAT, SIT, regression testing) and other required testing
- Develop documentation to track defects, identifying issues and reproduction steps
- Communicate with software testing team and development about defects and remediation
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in SAP software testing across UAT, SIT, and regression testing in SAP environments (e.g., Fiori, SAP GUI)
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and CIS for Utilities, EAM, and ERP modules
- Experience with Microfocus ALM
- Knowledge of test automation is ideal
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to effectively review and understand business and functional requirements
- Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate complex information simply
- Ability to work independently to execute structured manual testing and defect recording
