About the role
- Infrastructure security specialist supporting incident management and security measures deployment in a hybrid environment at TEHORA, a multidisciplinary Quebec firm.
Responsibilities
- Support the IT helpdesk in managing network and system security incidents
- Assist network and systems administrators with deploying security updates
- Apply vulnerability patches and follow up on security recommendations
- Analyze security incidents and recommend appropriate corrective actions
- Contribute to internal and external audits related to infrastructure security
- Propose and update security policies related to cloud and collaborative services
- Raise internal teams’ awareness of cybersecurity best practices
- Write procedures and reports related to infrastructure security
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in network and system IT security
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security equipment strategy and management
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking products and related security
- Familiarity with control concepts: ISO 27002, NIST and similar frameworks
- Candidate must be a permanent resource of the service provider at the time of bid submission
- Excellent communication in French; attention to detail, autonomy and strong sense of responsibility
