About the role

  • Bilingual QA Analyst testing TELUS Health’s healthcare technology solutions. Designing test cases, executing manual testing, and managing defects across Agile healthcare projects.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with Functional Leads, Business Analysts, Solution Designers, and Developers to clarify testing scope
  • Analyze technical documents to identify high-level test scenarios and develop comprehensive test cases
  • Create positive and negative test cases with expected results and test data
  • Maintain and update test suites for new or changed functionalities
  • Prioritize and execute manual test scripts
  • Report defects, follow up on resolution, and perform retesting
  • Report testing progress and flag risks to deadlines or quality
  • Support and peer-review tasks of other QA resources, particularly less experienced team members
  • Provide client support and training when required
  • Deliver QA-related tasks according to defined standards and procedures
  • Collaborate in Agile ceremonies on stable, long-term healthcare technology projects
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the full software testing lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • University degree in computer science, mathematics, or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant Quality Assurance experience
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to understand external customer requirements from a testing perspective
  • Curious, disciplined, and creative approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to approach problems using concepts and data in a structured manner
  • Clear and constructive communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to think from users’ perspective
  • Commitment to learning and professional growth
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote/hybrid environment
  • Availability to travel within Canada
  • Intermediate knowledge of English required for interactions and English-only IT tools
  • Experience in pension plan administration or financial services industry is an asset
  • Experience using Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking is an asset
  • Experience with Selenium and Java is an asset
