About the role

  • Security Investigator conducting fraud investigations for TELUS, utilizing data analytics to prevent loss. Collaborating with teams and coaching employees on security best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fraud investigations and analyze patterns to identify security risks and vulnerabilities
  • Utilize data analytics and AI-powered tools to predict fraud loss and develop prevention strategies
  • Coach and develop store team members on loss prevention, security awareness, and compliance procedures
  • Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, and policy violations in retail locations
  • Conduct investigative interviews with retail team members across TELUS Retail and Mobile Klinik locations
  • Collaborate with Law Enforcement and internal stakeholders on security matters
  • Monitor compliance and provide recommendations for improving security controls and processes

Requirements

  • Excellent coaching and mentoring abilities to develop team members
  • Knowledge of retail security, loss prevention, and compliance requirements
  • Strong interviewing and communication skills
  • Fluency in French (verbal and written) is mandatory
  • Located in Quebec and/or bilingual (French/English) capability required
  • Must be reachable 24 hours a day during on-call rotation
  • Flexibility to respond to security incidents outside regular business hours
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills with experience in fraud detection and prevention
  • Proficiency in data analytics and ability to leverage AI tools for predictive analysis
  • Must have or complete The Wicklander-Zulawski investigative interviewing course within 3 months of hire date
