Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to team members on cybersecurity risk methodologies
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CSO’s office and business leaders
- Ensure risk management practices are aligned with industry frameworks
- Support and elevate how we work, recommending improvements
- Own and maintain the Cybersecurity Risk Register
- Conduct comprehensive annual risk assessments
- Deliver high-quality risk evaluations and propose actionable recommendations
- Collaborate closely with risk owners and key stakeholders
Requirements
- 7+ years of cybersecurity experience
- Strong hands-on risk management exposure
- Deep knowledge in at least two domains (e.g., cloud security, vulnerability management, GRC, product security)
- Proven leadership experience
- Advanced understanding of risk frameworks and regulatory expectations (e.g., NIST 800 series, ISO/IEC 27001/27036, GDPR, NIS2)
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on experience conducting risk and threat assessments across hybrid environments
- Experience with GRC platforms such as AuditBoard, HelmGuard, OneTrust
- Professional certifications like CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or CISA
