About the role

  • QA Analyst conducting thorough software testing and collaborating with teams to enhance product quality at Tempo Software. Join us in making enterprise productivity software better.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive testing of software applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other team members to identify and resolve defects and issues.
  • Performing test execution, record and report defects, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining robust End-to-End (E2E) test automation scripts.
  • Participating in the design and implementation of automation testing solutions.
  • Contributing to the improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.
  • Supporting our continuous testing practices.
  • Providing production support of software products by investigating and recreating reported defects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years of experience in testing
  • Strong English communicator and clearly articulates ideas and concepts, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices
  • Highly structured and organized yet flexible enough to thrive with changing requirements and schedules
  • Experience and understanding of Web application testing
  • Testing of business logic, usability, and UI
  • Understanding the difference between GET and POST requests
  • Basic XSS knowledge
  • Experience in establishing or improving the testing process
  • Loves collaborating with teams and individuals to clarify and understand user needs and technical capabilities
  • ISTQB certification (considered as an advantage)
  • Experience with Jira administration (considered as an advantage)
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies (considered as an advantage)
  • Experience with performance testing (considered as an advantage)
  • Experience with security testing (considered as an advantage)
