Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, maintenance, and improvement of Torc's autonomous vehicle (AV) frameworks
Serve as a key technical lead for requirements and drive adoption of the AV Development Kit 3.0 with internal stakeholders
Promote development velocity through implementation, code review, and iterative improvement; be one of the team’s primary contributors to technical progress
Act as a trusted technical voice to facilitate collaboration between the Data Loop and Simulation teams within Torc’s AI division
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience
Experience with large-scale distributed training, particularly using Ray
Strong familiarity with the open-source ecosystem and demonstrated contributions to open-source projects
Experience building ML/AI solutions that have reached production
Comfortable with data science and the ML lifecycle/iteration
Familiarity with compute and data platforms
Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry (Level 4) or another related field
