About the role
- Junior Software Engineer developing Document Verification solutions at Trulioo. Collaborating with teams to build innovative identity verification technology.
Responsibilities
- Applying cutting-edge technologies to help create the next generation of Document Verification solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design customer-focused features and contribute to a forward-looking product strategy
- Working alongside a high-performing team of software engineers to deliver scalable and robust backend services
- Taking initiative to own solutions end-to-end — from planning and design through development, deployment, and maintenance
Requirements
- 1+ years of professional software development experience (co-op, internship, or equivalent experience also welcome)
- Proficiency in Kotlin or Java
- A strong ability and eagerness to quickly learn new technologies and apply research effectively
- Exposure to frameworks and principles for building microservices architectures
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and Pub/Sub technologies
- Some experience or coursework in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a collaborative working style
