About the role
- Senior QA Engineer building iOS and Android automation for Trust Wallet, a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet. Owning TypeScript frameworks, GitHub Actions quality gates, and mobile test reliability.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the mobile automation testing platform for iOS and Android
- Build and maintain the unified QE SDK using WebdriverIO and TypeScript
- Integrate smoke, regression, and release-gate testing into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
- Implement test parallelisation, tagging, stability practices, and automatic flake quarantine
- Improve test observability through dashboards, trend tracking, and test-run artefact management
- Manage cloud device-farm coverage, device matrices, session configuration, and cost efficiency
- Contribute to QE SDK onboarding through Claude Code skills and contribution guidelines
- Mentor engineers on testing techniques, CI/CD integration, and reliability practices
- Influence long-term automation architecture and release confidence for Trust Wallet’s cryptocurrency wallet
Requirements
- 3+ years in QA automation / SDET roles with end-to-end framework ownership
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript
- Experience with mobile automation for iOS and Android
- Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions
- Solid understanding of flake root causes, retry strategies, quarantine, and stability metrics
- Engineering-level familiarity with Web3 or blockchain concepts, including wallets, transactions, signing, and networks
- Excellent collaboration and async communication skills in a remote-first team
- Experience with WebdriverIO and/or Appium is nice to have
- Experience integrating feature flag systems into automated test sessions is nice to have
- Prior work on quality dashboards or data-driven test analytics is nice to have
- Exposure to containerised or cloud-based test infrastructure is nice to have
- Experience with performance or visual regression testing is nice to have
- Must have the right to work in the country where based
