About the role
- Manager, Campus Security overseeing security operations at multi-tenant campus property in North York. Collaborating with various departments and supporting security personnel across three campuses.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the security operations of a large, multi-tenant campus property
- Develop, implement, and manage campus security programs
- Collaborate with JSN departments on security and safety matters
- Support oversight of contracted security provider and personnel
- Participate in the development of campus security training and policies
- Respond to and mitigate campus critical incidents
- Maintain incident reporting process and communicate emergency situations
- Conduct security training and facilitate onboarding for staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of security procedures and surveillance equipment
- Advanced ability to coordinate responses to security breaches and threats
- Ability to quickly build rapport with employees and stakeholders
- Proactive approach with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Full access to a personal vehicle
- Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
