About the role
- Yard Coordinator at Premier Equipment Rentals ensuring equipment is ready for rent. Responsible for maintenance, customer interaction, and yard management.
Responsibilities
- Work with high standards to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Show customers how to operate equipment safely and answer any questions they may have.
- Perform rental return check-ins and check outs to meet Rent Ready Standards
- Completes minor repairs and regular maintenance on rental equipment
- Responsible for cleaning, detailing and servicing equipment upon return
- Loading and unloading rental equipment
- Check equipment for any damage, hours used and fuel level upon return
- Maintain safe work environment and perform duties in accordance with safety standards.
- Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements
- Customer centric with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and analytical with high attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Self-motivated team player with high integrity and initiative
- General knowledge of operating various pieces of equipment would be considered an asset
- Mechanically inclined and willing to learn
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Valid G driver’s license required with a clean Driver's Abstract
- Fork lift license an asset.
