Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Faculty's academic program administration
Lead the Faculty's student services portfolio and deliver coordinated, student-centred services throughout the student lifecycle
Lead the Academic Programs & Student Services team through planning, resource management and staff development
Provide strategic advice and operational leadership supporting Faculty priorities and relationships with internal and external partners
Lead initiatives to strengthen administrative processes, improve service delivery and support long-term organizational sustainability
Foster a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace
Ensure academic operations align with Faculty priorities, University policies, accreditation requirements and regulatory standards
Collaborate with the Dean's Office, Associate Deans, academic leaders, faculty members and central service partners
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in business, education, public administration or a related discipline
Several years of progressively responsible leadership experience within a post-secondary or similarly complex organization
Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary administrative teams
Experience supporting academic programs, student services, academic governance or related administrative functions
Experience leading organizational change, operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Thorough knowledge of post-secondary administration, academic program operations and student services
Knowledge of University governance, academic policies, procedures and administrative processes
Understanding of curriculum administration, academic regulations and accreditation processes
Knowledge of human resource management principles, workforce planning and organizational design
Working knowledge of budgeting, financial management and resource planning
Understanding of relevant collective agreements, employment legislation and administrative policies
Ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams
Strong organizational leadership and change management skills
Excellent strategic planning and operational management abilities
Ability to manage competing priorities and allocate resources
Ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
